TRUMP BOAT RALLY!

The Trump Boat Rally is an event where people gather to show their support for Donald J. Trump for the 2024 President of the United States of America! The event will take place on the shore line of between the baseball fields and 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. We encourage people to come to Lakeside Park public beach area because that’s where the event will start. But anywhere along the beach to show your support is welcome! And of course the event will take place on Lake Huron with all the boats! Boats will gather NE of the break wall at the marina around 4pm to start the course. We encourage people to bring all of their patriotic stuff they can to the event! We have 400 8x12 small American flags we will hand out and some other items while supplies last. Boaters get as many flags you can on your boat! Fishing pole holders with a flag attached to the fishing pole works! But we ask everyone to bring all they can to show their patriotic support! Just showing up to waive is 100% welcome! Also if you do not have a boat by all means you can ask someone if you can ride along! Please follow all USCG regulation and make sure the boat has the proper amount of life jackets. The first pass of the shoreline will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes at 5mph with the return trip around 30 minutes at 15mph. Boaters will do 1 more slow sweep of the shore line from Calcite break wall and the public beach east of the marina before the rally is over around 6pm! People are welcome to gather at the marina/beach area when the event is over!

Boaters are asked to start gathering before 4pm NE of the break wall. An announcement will be made with the Thunder Power 1200 megaphone when the boats are ready to start the voyage! The yellow arrows are the first pass where the speed limit will be 5mph. From the starting point we will go east to the Calcite break wall and loop around with left wheel to come back giving the boats behind us a wide birth. We’ll stay north of the harbor channel and bring it closer to shore to comb the shore line maintaining 5mph all the way till 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. At 40 Mile Point Lighthouse we will loop around with right wheel for the return voyage with the blue arrows. PLEASE keep speed at 5mph till the 1st pass boats are behind you on the starboard side to avoid excessive wake. When all clear you can open it up to 15mph and bring it closer to the shore line when clear of the all the 1st pass boats. When we arrive at the Calcite break wall bring it back down to 5mph and right wheel to do one more pass along the shore line until we are close to the marina break wall where event will end. Boats that are making the marina we encourage people on shore to assist with lines and boats that tie up first to please get off their boat after it is fully secure to assist other boaters with their lines. We ask all boats to fully comply with USCG regulation, fully understand USCG Inland Rules of The Road, drivers/pilots staying focused on navigation, and keep the event as safe as possible.
